On this Memorial Day let us remember our fallen comrades and Americans that gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The day isn't about BBQ's and pool parties. It is a national day of remembrance for our deceased Veterans.
One of the fallen is also one of our own Staten Islanders, who is up for sainthood in the Catholic Church. His name is Fr. Vincent Capodanno. Fr Vincent was killed in Vietnam while running to give last rites to people in his company.
